Easter Monday Boat Race 2000
Michel Faligant of Shoal Bay Scuba and Water Sports invited us to join him and other friends aboard the Reef Quest for an opportunity to follow the boat race. This race features Class A boats as described in Boat Racing on this site.
It was a beautiful day for the race with a good breeze and Captain Atlin Harrigan at the helm. Traditionally the Easter Monday race sails from Mead's Bay to Sandy Hill Bay and back to Mead's Bay. An event which begins at 9 am and ends around 5 pm. The Start of the race from Mead's Bay approximately 10 am!
