John Henry Anderson was born in Garrard Co KY Oct 29th, 1858. Died Feb 10th, 1959 in Howard Co. TX. and is buried at Coahoma, Texas. His married Mattie Boone Perkins. They had nine children, Ivy Linn (Hodnett), Walter Leslie, Oscar, Samson, Hubbert, Odessa Mae "Dessie", John H. Jr., Margaret Ann, and Ollie James.

James Samuel Anderson was born in Garrard Co KY, Lancaster District (post office) Nov 20th, 1860. Died August 23, 1957 3:20pm Friday 4 miles south of Anson, TX at the home of his daughter, Mary F (Anderson) Campbell. James married Lucy F. Rigsby on Sept 30th, 1880 Garrard Co Ky. Lucy Anderson was born on Feb 26th 1858. They had 9 Children. Obituary has his middle initial as E. and it should be S. but is without question his obituary.

Mary Elizabeth Anderson (Molly) was born Garrard Co KY, May 16, 1865 and died Feb 16, 1950 at Taylor Co. TX. She married John Lewis born Dec 2nd, 1851 died Feb 2, 1928 of Mitchell Co.TX. Their farm is right across the road from Iatan Cemetery. They had one daughter Maggie born Feb 1885 and died July 1968. All are buried in Iatan Cemetery.

George M.C. Anderson born June 12th 1866 in Garrard County KY and died Oct 20th, 1890 in West Texas. George never married or had any children.

William Green Anderson born April 7th, 1869 in Garrard Co KY. Died ? 1945. William married Wily Turner of TX. and they had 4 children "JV" Jordon Vernon, Wilford "Pete", Frances Margaret, and Josephine. JV married Maxine Mc Gee, and Pete married Eva Sue Simmons. William's grandson Bill Thomas is keeping a family tree for both the Anderson and Thomas families. Bill provided all photos on this page except for the "Sons Photo".

Flemont Anderson (Flem) was born Aug 26th, 1871. and died Sept 16th,1950 in Howard Co. TX. Married Lorie? Gregory and the infant child named Flemon S. Anderson 1891 - 1892 buried next to William E. Anderson at Iatan cemetery is believed to be their only child. Most family members think they had no children.

David L. Anderson was born 6-17-1877. Dave died in 1911. He married Jennie Hollaway. They had four children. Odie, Wilma, Oliv? and Ruth. After Dave's death Jennie married Robert Rigsby a first cousin to brother James Samuel's wife. Robert was from Ill. Dave died in Howard Co. TX.
