County, KY at 69 years of age. Archelus is the son of David and
Judith ANDERSON. Archelus married Elizabeth PARRISH in Goochland
County, Va 27-JAN-1789. Archelus and Elizabeth with their children
moved to Garrard Co. KY in 1807.
Archelus and Elizabeth had the following children:
Thomas ANDERSON was born ABT 1790 in Virginia. Thomas died in
Garrard Co., KY ABT 1869.
Garland ANDERSON was born 4-9-1792 in Virginia. Garland died 7-11-1863
in Garrard Co., KY at 71 years of age.
Pouncy ANDERSON was born 5-20-1794 in Virginia. Pouncy died 7-8-1856
in Garrard Co., KY at 62 years of age.
Archilles ANDERSON was born ABT 1796 in Virginia. Archilles died
ABT 1835 in Garrard CO., KY.
John ANDERSON was born January 1, 1801 in Virginia. John died
December 15, 1865 in Lincoln Co., KY. at 64 years of age.

in Garrard Co., KY at 54 years of age.

was born in VA ABT 1796. Archilles died ABT 1835 in KY. While Archilles
was born in VA his parents moved to Garrard County, Kentucky in
1807. Archilles was the son of Archelus and Elizabeth (PARRISH)
ANDERSON. He married Nancy MILLER 24-JAN-1816.
Archilles and Nancy had the following children:

married 2-FEB-1795, Louisa Co. VA to John LAWRENCE. Sarah was David
and Judith Anderson's daughter.
Sarah and John had the following children:
Samuel LAWRENCE married Jane T. HIGGASON on 11-AUG-1829, Louisa
Co. VA. Sarah LAWRENCE was listed as mother and guardian; witness
was Cornelius DABNEY, surety was Hezekiah SIMS. According to Louisa
Co. Historical Magazine, Vol. 2, No. 1, p.28, Jane HIGGASON, age
49, and Samuel LAWRENCE, age 19, were married 14-AUG-1829.
Fanny LAWRENCE is listed on the 1850 Census for Louisa Co. VA.
(Entry follows) Samuel LAWRENCE, age 42, farmer. Jane LAWRENCE,
age 60. Fanny LAWRENCE, age 45.
5. Susannah ANDERSON
married 31-DEC-1796, Louisa Co. VA to Henderson LAWRENCE. They came
to Garrard Co. KY about the same time or with Archelus and Elizabeth
ANDERSON. They are on the 1810 Census for Garrard Co. KY, the 1820
Census for Lincoln Co. KY, and the 1830 Census for Shelby Co. KY.
After that there is no mention of them in Census. Susannah was David
and Judith ANDERSON's daughter.
The following data gives some information about their
children:
Scarlett SMITH married Martha LAWRENCE, 16-MAR-1824; bondsman
was Henderson LAWRENCE, father of Martha. Shelby Co. KY.
In Shelby Co. KY marriages was found possibly two more children:

Archibald LAWRENCE married Eleandor ALVIS, 6-JUL-1831

years of age. While David was born in VA his parents moved to Garrard
County, Kentucky in 1807. David was the son of Archelus and Elizabeth
(PARRISH) ANDERSON. He married Eliza MILLER 22-APR-1828.

was born in VA his parents moved to Garrard County, Kentucky in
1807. Garland was the son of Archelus and Elizabeth (PARRISH) ANDERSON.
Garland served in the War of 1812. He married 1817, KY to Catherine
GRIFFIN, daughter of Solomon GRIFFIN and Mary BULL, born 5-DEC-1798,
New York, NY, died 18-SEP-1863, Crab Orchard, Lincoln Co. KY. (both
are buried in Whitley House Cem., Crab Orchard, Lincoln Co. KY).

C., KY and died near Big Spring, TX 3-JUN-1925 at the age of 84.
Margaret was the daughter of Flemming and Elizabeth (ADAMS) CUMMINS.
Buck and Margaret are both buried at Iatan Cemetery, Iatan, TX.

Pulaski Co. KY. Nancy married James Sledge Crews, 18-DEC-1879.
This couple lived in Somerset, KY and had seven children.
George Allen Anderson, born 15-FEB-1856, Pulaski Co. KY, married
to Nancy E. Eubanks. (He committed suicide after the death of
his wife and 2 children in the space of 1 week.)

died Big Spring, TX 4-23-1973 at the age of 86. She is buried at
Mount Olive Cemetery, Big Spring, Texas. Ivy was the daughter of
John Henry ANDERSON and Mattie Boone PERKINS.
She married Thomas Frances "Frank" HODNETT on 2-17-1909.
Frank was born 5-25-1883 and died 6-8-1948 at the age of 64 years.
Ivy and Frank were ranching in Monahans, TX, then moved to Midway,
TX to try farming, before finally settling on 640 acres of farm
and ranch land at Knott, TX 18 miles northwest of Big Spring, TX.
Frank was also a county commissioner for Howard County. Ivy and
Frank are buried beside each other in Mount Olive Memorial Park
Cemetery in Big Spring, TX along with their second son Ewell Willis
Hodnett.
